Mariana Losada

Dr Mariana Losada is the Senior Assistant Director of International Affairs at the Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) at the National University of Singapore; Paris-NUS Programme Director; and Sciences Po and Université Paris Cité’s representative in Singapore and Southeast Asia. She is also a Senior Fellow at NUS College, where she teaches the Global and Impact Experience courses and a class dedicated to Women’s Health.

She holds a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po and was a visiting fellow at both the University of Oxford and the University of Chicago. Motivated by her personal experience, she became an advocate for Women’s Health. Over her career, she has held roles at institutions including the Fulbright Commission, UNESCO and UNICEF, where she worked on a project related to eliminating mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
