Dr. Arash Naeim is a Professor in Bioengineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and a Professor of Medicine in the Divisions of Hematology-Oncology and Geriatric Medicine at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine. He is the Chief Medical Officer for Clinical Research and the Associate Dean for Clinical Research for UCLA Health. He is Co-Director of the Clinical & Translational Science Institute and the UCLA Center for AI & SMART Health. He is an Associate Director of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center and UCLA Institute for Precision Health. His research interests included outcomes research, cost-effectiveness analysis, modeling of health and frailty, and the use of Med-Tech and AI in managing frail populations.
