Professor Yoo is a management scholar specializing in digital innovation at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He serves as the Academic Director of LSE Lifelong Learning Digital. A Fellow of the Association for Information Systems, he previously held prominent academic positions in the US, including Case Western Reserve University and Temple University. His influential research on digital innovation is widely recognized, with publications in top academic journals including MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Organization Science, and the Academy of Management Journal. Professor Yoo has secured over $8 million in research funding from NSF, NASA and private foundations and is serving as Senior Editor of Information Systems Research. Beyond academia, he has driven digital transformation at major organizations and co-founded Halo Harbour, a privacy-preserving, decentralized AI-enabled digital service platform.
