Nihara Krause

Dr Nihara Krause MBE, is an award-winning Consultant Clinical Psychologist, lecturer, and Founder of stem4, UK’s leading digital mental health charity for children and young people. She is the clinical creator of 5 internationally recognised mental health apps and a nationally embedded wellbeing programme. As a highly experienced clinician, Dr Krause applies evidence-based practice in working with a range of mental ill health conditions, addressing the complex interplay between biological, psychological and socioeconomic factors that contribute to mental health challenges. She is active in developing innovative digital approaches to self-harm and suicide prevention. Recognising the impact of online activity on mental health, Dr Krause has jointly created the first national ‘Online Safety First Aid’ programme, a tool to build digital resilience. She contributes regularly to TV, radio, and the media.
