| Dr Simon Radford is Director of Policy and Programming for the Milken Institute in Europe. Formerly a strategy consultant with Deloitte and Founders Intelligence, and with a Masters in Public Policy from Brown University and a PhD from the University of Southern California, Simon’s current research at the Milken Institute is situated at the intersection of finance and health. As the primary convenor of the Milken Institute Advisory Council on Preventative Health, chaired by Lord James Bethell and including the likes of Prof Ara Darzi and Sir John Bell, Simon leads the Institute’s health work in the UK, ranging from a landmark report on how to fund and finance a pivot towards more preventative health infrastructure to questions around the UK’s biotech strategy and crowding in private capital to better grow the UK’s life sciences sector. Simon also chairs Barnet Council’s pension committee, overseeing the allocation of approximately £1.6bn in assets. Simon lives in North London with his wife and two sons. |
