Professor David Leslie Paterson directs ADVANCE-ID, a clinical trials network spanning more than 40 hospitals across Asia focused on antimicrobial resistance, and holds appointments at the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also an Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland and has authored more than 600 peer-reviewed publications on antimicrobial resistance. His research focuses on the molecular and clinical epidemiology of antibiotic-resistant infections, translating findings into improved prevention and treatment strategies through multi-country clinical trials.
