David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon, is a furniture designer and businessman who founded the bespoke furniture company Linley in 1985 after training in furniture making at Parnham House, Dorset. He is Honorary Chairman of Christie’s UK, a role extended in 2015 to Honorary Chairman of Christie’s across Europe, the Middle East, Russia and India, and serves as Vice President of the King’s Foundation, where he frequently represents his cousin, King Charles III. The son of Princess Margaret and the 1st Earl of Snowdon, he succeeded to the earldom in 2017.
