Professor Elizabeth J Z Robinson is Acting Dean of the Global School of Sustainability and Professor of Environmental Economics in the Department of Geography and Environment at the London School of Economics, where she has also directed the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment since 2021. Her research focuses on climate change and health, including food security, undernutrition and heat and worker rights, and she has advised the UK’s Defra Economic Advisory Panel, the House of Lords, and the UK Climate Change Committee. She is a Lead Author for the IPCC’s Seventh Assessment Report and has previously worked at Oxford, the World Bank, the Boston Consulting Group and the Rockefeller Foundation.
