| Geoff Anders is a seasoned machine learning professional with 15 years of experience dedicated to the development and implementation of autonomous systems. He spent 12 years at a machine learning-focused quantitative hedge fund in San Francisco, where he was responsible for the development of their core ML research infrastructure – a system that encompassed all aspects of the investment decision-making process, from the discovery and combination of signals to the construction of optimal portfolios and the trading strategies required to implement them.
More recently, Geoff transitioned to the Chorus project at Alphabet’s X Moonshot factory, as the founding member of their Machine Learning team. Chorus envisions a world where comprehensive knowledge of the location and state of all physical assets transforms the way we make, move, and consume goods. In his current capacity, Geoff is leveraging his passion for ML and optimization to design resilient systems aimed at significantly enhancing efficiency and reducing waste for Chorus’s partners and clients. |
