| Jim Mellon is a British entrepreneur and investor, and Co-Founder and Deputy Chairman of Juvenescence, a biotechnology company focused on extending human healthspan that grew out of his book of the same name. Born in Edinburgh in 1957 and educated in philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford, he built his career in fund management before founding his own investment business in 1991, and now manages diverse holdings through his family office, the Burnbrae Group. He also co-founded Agronomics, an investor in cellular agriculture, has established the Mellon Longevity Centre at Oxford, and received the American Federation for Aging Research’s Doty Award for his support of ageing research. |
