Jon Truett is a former soldier with a 23 year career in the British Army including 20 years serving in an elite special forces unit.
Enlisting into the parachute Regiment in 1998, he passed the gruelling SAS selection course in 2002 which led to an extensive operational record participating in numerous high stakes operations.
His service years encompassed the full spectrum of special forces missions shaped by complex global conflicts in the post 9/11 period.
Jon faced significant physical and psychological challenges throughout his service. These periods led to stress related Alopecia and required considered management to personal tragedies which has shaped his perspective on resilience and mental health.
Since leaving the military in 2021 Jon has been involved with technology that enhances human performance and underpins human health. A committed advocate to innovative applications of non-invasive technology he represents NMES grp AB ( Neuromuscular electrical stimulation ). Working alongside HPO experts and breathing scientists he participates in research and development focused on physiological adaptation and how human biology can be augmented to better evolve with the challenges we all share in our professional and personal lives.
