| Professor the Lord Ara Darzi is Co-Director of the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London, where he also holds the Paul Hamlyn Chair of Surgery. He chairs the NHS Accelerated Access Collaborative and is Executive Chair of the World Innovation Summit for Health, the Pre-emptive Health & Medicine Initiative at Flagship Pioneering, and the Fleming Initiative, a global effort to combat antimicrobial resistance. A pioneer of minimally invasive and robotic surgery, he has advised UK governments on health policy, including authoring the influential Darzi Review of the NHS. |
