Thomas C. Kingsley, MD, MPH, MS, is the Director of Applied Artificial Intelligence at UCLA Health, where he leads the translation of AI research to application. Previously, he helped drive the enterprise-wide AI transformation at Mayo Clinic, while also founding and directing an NSF/NIH grant funded Healthcare and Epidemiology AI Lab (HEAL). A nationally recognized leader in AI, Dr. Kingsley has operationalized numerous AI systems in clinical practice and frequently speaks and publishes on a broad range of topics in AI. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at UCLA and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Informatics at Mayo Clinic and received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and has further graduate degrees in Public Health at Harvard Chan School of Public Health, Biomedical Informatics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
